AIRCRAFT RESCUE FIRE FIGHTING (ARFF) SYSTEM

The Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) System is designed to be a simple, affordable live-fire training structure for any fire department looking to add live-fire ARFF training to their safety training program. This structure is designed for repeated use with minimal maintenance, so rest-assured your ARFF System will last your fire department for years to come.

The ARFF System is fully insulated and designed for repeated LPG fueled live-fire training. It typically will have five burn locations (cockpit, galley, lavatory, landing gear and engine), which are independently operated.

STANDARD FEATURES

All ARFF Systems include:

  • Live fire props using LPG fuel, which allows for variable fire behavior.
  • Built-in temperature monitoring system.
  • Standard door and ventilation hatches.
  • Fabricated interior cockpit, lavatory, seats and overhead bins.
  • Fabricated wings, landing gear and engines.
  • Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manual.
  • On-site training with a Certified Fire Instructor (CFI).

OPTIONAL FEATURES

Choose from the following optional features:

  • Customization to your specific training needs and budget.

The ARFF System can be fully customized to meet your live-fire, confined space, and rope rappelling training needs.

All our training facilities are compliant with NFPA 1402 “Standard on Facilities for Fire Training and Associated Props”. We’re well-versed in this standard as we assisted in writing and developing it. Your training system will also ship with a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) Placard, which definitively confirms NFPA 1402 compliance. In the absence of a placard, compliance with the applicable standard should not be assumed.

Additionally, you’ll have access to our Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in numerous states to support your project from a technical perspective.
