      Since 2005, Fire Training Structures (FTS) has been a leading-edge manufacturer of quality fire training simulators both domestically and internationally. FTS maintains a 90,000 square foot fabrication facility and employs a team of approximately 40 Project Managers, Engineers, Fabricators, Certified Welders, Electricians, and Carpenters.

      Fire Training Structures (FTS)

      Fire Training Structures (FTS) utilizes a Pre-Engineered and Prefabricated solution methodology. To achieve this objective, training simulators incorporate the use of ISO Freight Containers (a.k.a shipping containers). As active committee members, all simulators designed, fabricated, and delivered by FTS will be NFPA 1402 “Standard on Facilities for Fire Training and Associated Props” compliant.

      Damon has a master’s degree in international management, founded Southwest Mobile Storage (SMS) in 1995 and Fire Training Structures (FTS) in 2003.  SMS is an equipment rental business that provides mobile storage containers, portable offices and custom fabricated container-based structures for commercial and military applications. FTS provides custom fabricated container-based training structures to fire service professionals both domestically and internationally. Damon heads the FTS team and brings 26 years of experience in business management to the organization.

      Travis has a bachelor’s degree in business marketing and co-founded Southwest Mobile Storage (SMS) in 1995 and Fire Training Structures (FTS) in 2003.  Travis provides operational support for both businesses and brings over 20 years of industry expertise to the organization.

      Director of Business Development

      Phil has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, a master’s degree in business administration and is a registered professional engineer in several states. He has served in various leadership positions within the construction and manufacturing industries. Phil is an alternate technical committee member on NFPA 1402 “Standard on Facilities for Fire Training and Associated Props” and has contributed toward the development of this standard. Phil serves as the director of business development and brings over 20 years of industry expertise to the organization.

      Project Manager/Engineer

      Scott has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering. He has served as a subject matter expert in various design environments. Scott is a technical committee member on NFPA 1402 “Standard on Facilities for Fire Training and Associated Props” and significantly contributed toward the development of this standard. Scott servers as a project manager / engineer and brings over 10 years of industry expertise to the organization.
